How This Is Scored
The HD Market Scorecard is Hyperscape Digital's own weekly assessment of how hospitable each major US market is to new large-load interconnection — an opinion index built from public data and our on-the-ground read, not a third-party rating. Grades run A through F on the weighted factors below.

Grade History
Every published change to the index, most recent first. Grades held since July 16, 2026 are unchanged from inception.

ERCOTAA-
Texas paused the Batch Zero large-load interconnection study pending a statewide data-center audit, degrading time-to-power (35%) and tariff/moratorium climate (20%). Held to one notch: the pause is finite, ERCOT retains the deepest uncommitted capacity and lowest forward prices on the board, and the audit favors self-generation structures.
